Rellik Partners With Green Creative To Solve Waste Management Challenges

Rellik recently faced a significant challenge: efficiently depackaging materials like yogurt, ice cream, butter, and cheese, essential across multiple industries. The company needed a solution that not only improved waste management but also enhanced sustainability. Green Creative's Flexidry emerged as the answer, offering a cutting-edge approach to biowaste deconditioning.

Green Creative and Rellik: A Partnership for Change

In the waste management industry, innovation and collaboration are vital. Green Creative and Rellik have shown that by working together, they can push the boundaries of what's possible. Their partnership, centred around the introduction of the Flexidry solution, highlights the power of teamwork in tackling environmental challenges.

A Shared Vision

Telford Smith, a well-known figure in waste management and the official distributor of Green Creative products in Australia, introduced Rellik to Flexidry. Recognising a shared commitment to sustainable practices, Rellik's founder, Marcus Galbraith, travelled to France to see the Flexidry machine in action. This firsthand experience confirmed the decision to integrate Flexidry into Rellik's operations.

Flexidry: Setting New Standards in Waste Management

Flexidry delivers an impressive 99.8% purity rate in its pulp, with only 0.3% impurities in dry matter. This high level of purity ensures superior organic recovery and recycling, positioning Green Creative as a leader in depackaging technology. Unlike traditional high-speed separators, Flexidry’s ability to produce such clean output attracted Rellik, opening up new opportunities for their pulp.

Seamless Implementation and Operation

The first Flexidry machine arrived in Australia in January 2024, marking a significant milestone for both Telford Smith and Rellik. With expert support from Telford Smith’s engineers and Green Creative’s technical team, the commissioning and testing phases went smoothly. By the end of the first day, the machine was up and running, demonstrating its potential to revolutionise waste management practices.

Pushing Flexidry's Limits

During testing, Rellik explored Flexidry's capabilities with a variety of materials, from food items like yogurt and ice cream to packaged goods such as pizza and microwavable meals. This process showcased the machine's versatility and hinted at broader applications beyond standard waste streams. "Remarkably, the output from the ice cream product was so contamination-free that it looked appetizing," noted Telford Smith's Director, David Picone, highlighting Flexidry's effectiveness.

A Sustainable Future Ahead

As Flexidry becomes an integral part of Rellik's operations, the future looks promising. Green Creative and Rellik, driven by a common goal of sustainability, are set to redefine industry standards. Their collaboration is a testament to how partnerships can lead to innovative solutions for environmental challenges.

Looking ahead, Green Creative have launched Flexipure, a new organic pulp purifier. With a purity rate of 99.91% and an energy-efficient design, Flexipure is not only environmentally friendly but also user-friendly, featuring a Plug & Play module for easy installation on any site.
