Rupture Plugs for Extruders

Telford Smith stock & supply a range of rupture plugs for extrusion applications.

Rupture plugs provide instantaneous pressure relief in applications where pressure build up may occur, thereby protecting equipment & operators. Each rupture plug comprises a stainless steel body with rupture disc membrane.

Burst pressures range from 1,500 to 9,500 psig with an intrinsically safe design, leak tight seal up to 750 degrees F melt temperatures & an accuracy of plus/ minus 5%.
