Cutting Chamber

The cutting chamber is manufactured from heavy gauge Aluminium plate and swings away from the cutter for cleaning and maintenance procedures. The cutter is supported on a conical shaft with tapered locking sleeve to ensure minimal cutter run-out.

Cutting Blades

Blades are manufactured from high-grade tool steel, fully hardened to 60Rc. The rotating blade is of one-piece construction and needs no adjustment. The stationary blade is adjustable and has four cutting edges.

Safety

To prevent access while the machine is running a safety switch, which is interlocked with the main drive, is fitted to the hinged soundproof enclosure.
